SpecialAlbum.com does not collect or store your payment card details on our servers. Payments are processed through our payment gateway, which may collect and retain payment information according to its own policies and procedures.
2. How We Use Your Information

Your event details, stories, photographs, and other submitted content are used to design and create your personalised digital album.
We do not use your event content for unrelated purposes.

Your name, email address, and order details are used to identify your account, manage your purchase, provide customer support, and communicate with you about your album or hosting plan.
2.3. Company Records and Accounting
We retain relevant order and payment records for company reference and accounting purposes, even after your album content has been deleted.
3. Promotional Use of Your Photos and Album
We may wish to showcase selected albums or photographs on our website, social media, or other promotional channels to demonstrate our work.
3.1. Optional Promotional Consent
When submitting your album details and photographs, you may be presented with an optional checkbox asking whether SpecialAlbum.com may use your album or photographs for promotional purposes.
3.2. Your Choice
We will only use your album or photographs for promotional purposes if you have agreed through this optional consent.
Agreeing to promotional use is not required to purchase a plan or have your album created.
4. How We Store and Delete Your Information
We use WordPress and Cloudflare R2 as part of our album creation and hosting process.
4.1. Temporary Storage of Original Photos
When you upload photographs through your dashboard submission form, the original uploaded images are temporarily stored in a Cloudflare R2 storage bucket.
We download the images, resize them as needed, and upload the images selected for your album to WordPress.
Once the selected images have been successfully uploaded to WordPress, the original images stored in Cloudflare R2 are deleted.
4.2. Storage During Your Hosting Period
The photographs used in your published album and the associated album content remain stored in WordPress for the hosting period included in your purchased plan.
If you renew your plan, your album content will continue to be hosted according to the renewed hosting period.
4.3. After Your Hosting Period Expires
If your hosting plan expires without renewal:
- Your album will be made private and will no longer be publicly accessible through its album link.
- We will retain the album content for a maximum of one month after the hosting expiry date, during which you may contact us to renew your plan.
- If you do not renew within this one-month period, we will permanently delete the album content, including the photographs and other event details stored in WordPress.
4.4. Order and Accounting Records
Even after your album content is permanently deleted, we will retain relevant order and payment records, including the plan purchased and the amount paid, for company reference and accounting purposes.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or make it available to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
However, certain information may be shared in limited circumstances:
5.1. Service Providers and Business Partners
We may share relevant information with service providers or business partners when necessary to operate, maintain, improve, or migrate our systems and infrastructure.

Such sharing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant business or technical purpose.
