It started with a coffee.
Emily and James first met on an ordinary Saturday afternoon in London. Emily had stopped for coffee before meeting a friend. James was sitting at the next table, trying unsuccessfully to work on his laptop.
A spilled coffee, an awkward apology and a conversation that lasted far longer than either expected changed everything.
Over the years, there were weekend escapes, long-distance flights, Sunday mornings, new homes, new adventures and countless small moments that became part of their story.
And then, on a quiet evening overlooking the sea, James asked Emily the question that would change their lives.
